- Once enrolled in Branson School Online, the student notifies his/her teacher that s/he is interested in taking college classes online or on campus (if the student is within a reasonable travel distance). The teacher will provide initial counseling based upon the student’s career goals and previous academic work.
- The teacher will then refer the request to the Administration for approval. The student must complete the Post Secondary Enrollment form found at our Web site.
- If the program request is approved, the student then contacts the higher education (community college, four year college or university) institution of his/her choosing, but limited to Colorado.
- The student will need to speak to the person or office in charge of "Post Secondary Options Act" enrollment.
- The higher education institution will then schedule the student for an AccuPlace test to determine which courses the student will be successful in.
- The student completes the class to the satisfaction of the professor, just as they would if they were a college student.
- Upon completion of the class, the student submits his/her grade report and tuition receipt to Branson School Online for reimbursement.
